His partner and best friend, Ferb, sat on his left, staring into space, obviously lost in thought. As usual. On his right, his other best friend Isabelle kneeled, tossing flowers into the water. Aside from the twittering birds and the rushing water, all was silent. Dr. Phineastein liked it at the river. Sometimes he felt as though it was the only place he could ever go and not be met by mistrusting glares and harsh words. He and his partner had been recieving plenty of the two ever since a year ago, when...
Out of the corner of his eye, Phineas saw Isabelle turn her head to look at him. As she scanned his face, her forehead creased, and her smile vanished.
"You're thinking about it again, aren't you?" She asked worriedly.
"What? No, I'm not," Phineas lied. She wasn't buying it.
"You ARE thinking about it!" She sat up straight. "Ferb, he's doing it again!"
"Isabelle, you don't need to-" Phineas tried

Chapter 2, Twins of WastelandThe girls soared through a portal of light and color for what seemed like a few seconds before they reached the exit. Elle came out first, landing on her face with an "Oof!" She stood up and dusted herself off, but didn't get a chance to have a look around before Cameron came toppling out of the mirror onto her twin.
"Ow!" Cameron groaned.
"Cameron!" Elle yelped from underneath her sister.
"Elle!" Cameron looked down as though just noticing her. She slid off her back and sheepishly helped her up. Elle glanced at her sister, never caring that she had almost just become a human pancake.
"What happened?" she asked.
"I don't know..." Cameron shrugged. "Lets see if we can get a better look around."
To the girls, it looked as though they had entered a mirror image of the old abandoned place they were just in. Everything was wrong. The word 'monday' was printed 'yadnom' on the calendar, which hung on the wall next to upside-down picture frames. Cameron looked dow

Chp. 1, The Monster of Phineas and Ferbenstein IIThe harvest moon bathed Danville in a dim light on the night of Halloween. It was pretty late, but the living room window at the Flynn-Fletcher house was lit. Inside, Phineas and Ferb could be found, sprawled on the carpet with their pet platypus, Perry. Candace sat between her father and her grandpa on the couch, watching a scary movie. She was texting, as usual.
"Well, this isn't much of a horror movie," Mr. Fletcher remarked. "Where are the rock'n roll musical numbers?"
Candace groaned. "You say that about every horror movie."
"Your father's right, Candace," Grandpa Fletcher said. "This particular horror movie lacks... horror. I mean, it's not really that scary now, is it?"
"What's your idea of scary, Grandpa?" Phineas asked, unwrapping a piece of trick-or-treat candy. Before he could eat it, Perry snatched it up in his mouth and chewed happily. Phineas laughed.
"Well, Phineas, I do have quite an expansive collection of spooky tales."
